We do love an adventure so this is a 3JF special - how long is a piece of string is often the answer when someone asks, how far are we going? #CLUE....
In the true spirit of Adventures you are asked to pack a rusksack with 2 litres of water, food to nibble on the hoof and expect to be out for about 6-8 hours. Avoid chocolate and fizzy drinks if it is a hot day! Make sure you have essentials for all weathers - sunnies, hat, sunscreen, waterproofs, mozzy spray, blister plasters, spare socks. Expect to be on your feet for a decent saunter. THIS IS NOT FOR THE FEINT HEARTED!
There are "mercy cuts" so if you start to feel weary or achieved your goal then you cansafely get back home. The route is around Reading along the Kennet canal, Thames path and some of Englefield Estates. No more clues!
Our cars will be parked at the Cunning Man. We can enjoy a celebration drink on our return.
Booking online in advance is essential. This is to keep you safe and minimise the risks for these exciting walks.
You are asked to contact Janine by phone, leaving a voicemail or sending an sms text to 07792 550191, if you are likely to be delayed as we do start classes promptly.
This session is for Freedom Passport Holders only. You receive this after successfully completing our Learn To Nordic Walk course. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 07792 550191 for details.
