Beat the Bank Holiday crowds and relax with us walking from Pangbourne to Goring along the Thames Path and via Hartslock Reserve. There are some stunning views across the Thames Valley and Ridgeway. The terrain is a mix of flat towpath and woodland with steep inclines.
They are friendly! We do practice caution and would hope that you trust our judgement to safe passage!
Pack a small picnic to have a mini munchstop in Goring. For those who aren't sure if they can complete the whole walk this is a perfect walk to do one way and get the train back. Please do make your own arrangements for that. This walk may be a little longer than usual so that we can walk at a sociable pace. We aim to complete in 3 1/2 hours (ish!).
This walk is also open to Non Nordic walkers, family members, friends and those wishing to experience the 3JFitness Community group walk friendly atmosphere.
The walk is free for our 3JFitness monthly direct debit members.
Adventure Walks offer an opportunity to use Nordic Walking as a means of enjoying the landscape while walking in a social context. There is less emphasis on workout drills and technique than experienced on our hour long walks – we cover longer distances on mixed terrain, so you achieve a workout simply by completing the walk!
These are sociable adventure walks where we walk at a relaxed pace of about 2.5mph, chatting. For those wishing to stride out we operate the "the whistle and loop back" fun strategy. It helps maintain our sense of community but address the different needs. We do have workout walks where different energy levels can be pushed.
Booking online in advance is essential. This is to keep you safe and minimise the risks for these exciting walks.

Whilst we do understand that sometimes it is not possible to make a class, please be aware that we do operate a no refund policy if you give us less than 24 hours’ notice.
