Typically we shall meet at the entrance to Miller Park, close to The Continental pub.
We shall generally walk for one hour, but sometimes a little longer. We shall inform you prior to departure (or via the FB group).
Routes will take in varied terrain across the whole of the Avenham Park, Miller Park, River Ribble area.
Whilst the session will be designed to stimulate your heart health and fitness we shall ensure that we cater to varied levels of fitness.
Please note that Park Run holds its weekly Saturday morning 9am 5km run from Avenham park. Arrive early to ensure parking.
Generally, we stop for a drink and/or bite to eat after the walk at the Avenham Pavilion cafe.
We may change location to one of several other parks or green spaces around wider Preston to vary the terrain and scenery for you. We may also occasionally lengthen the walk as challenge events (10km, half marathon, etc.) approach.
