We shall generally walk for over one hour and up to one and a half hours. We shall aim for most walks to stop at a suitable cafe or watering hole for refreshments and further conversation.
Routes will take in varied terrain across the whole of the wider Preston area.
Whilst the session will be designed to stimulate your heart health and fitness we shall ensure that we cater to varied levels of fitness. Typically we shall cover around 6-7km.
We may also occasionally lengthen the walk as part of our endeavor to assist you in achieving completion of longer circular routes such as the Guild Wheel or the 7 Parks walk and to support you on building fitness and stamina for longer challenge events (10km, half marathon, etc.).
