Come and join Susan in our first challenge event and take part in either a 5km (3mile)
or 10km (6mile) Nordic walk around Heaton Park and fundraise in aid of the Stroke Association!
We won't be the only Nordic Walkers. NWUK fellow instructors Tim Bowman and Jane Lees
and some of their groups are also taking part so lets make it a purple Nordic Walking
revolution in aid of this worthy cause.... and you get a medal at the end!
YOU MUST FOLLOW THE BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS shown below - DO NOT BOOK
via EXERCISE ANYWHERE or the BOOK THIS WALK BUTTON.
Cost is £16 to enter, which covers a fundraising pack, a technical running t-shirt,
regular training emails, water and a medal.
PLEASE LET SUSAN KNOW WHEN YOU ENTER AND WHICH DISTANCE AS WE
HAVE TO INFORM THE ORGANISERS OF THE NUMBER OF NORDIC WALKERS
TAKING PART. We can then arrange car shares as parking will be limited
and agree a meeting point and time.
NORDIC WALKERS CAN ONLY ENTER THE 5 AND 10KM EVENTS NOTTHE 15KM
AS FIRST AID COVER STOPS AT 1.30PM
If you are not sure which distance to enter then contact Susan.
We will be there to support you around.
Your entry fee covers the cost of running the event, so you are also asked to fundraise
to raise money to support more people living with the effects of stroke and their families.
