This award winning course will help you to not only learn Nordic walking technique but will help you to use it in order to achieve your personal health and fitness goals.
This is a 3 week course of one hour sessions, same venue, time and day:
Each session adds another ‘gear’ and helps you to understand how to gain propulsion, gradually increase the workload and learn how to Nordic walk for fitness, weight loss or fun! Four one hour sessions in a relaxed group suitable for all levels.
Session 1 – The fundamentals of Nordic Walking technique.
Session 2 – Mastering hand grip and poles straps to develop technique, introduction for walking up and down hills
Session 3 – Adding more speed, through improved technique and learning to keep in your own comfort zone. Improving posture and understanding technique, distance, speed & terrain
You will then receive your Freedom pass and can sign up for any of the walks. Continue here to get fitter and sleeker and maybe even sign up for additional Workout Classes. Explore Berkshire with the Adventure Walks, and enjoy the social walks that continue to give you that wellbeing buzz. The program and walk types are continually being changed and added.
Booking online in advance is essential. This is to keep you safe and minimise the risks for these exciting walks.

Maria started Nordic walking with 3JFitness as part of the “This Girl Can Nordic Walk” Festival organised by Janine, in July 2016. Maria had already been Nordic walking in Germany but had not learned the technical aspects to really make use of this wonderful way to get fitter.
