Ideal for those with concerns about either distance, pace, rehabilitation or certain medical conditions. These gentle walks will be just what you need to build up your confidence and improve your health, general fitness and increase joint mobility AND decrease aches, pains and depression.
Balance, co-ordination and strength exercises will be incorporated as well occasionally using the unique exercise tool called the Smovey to help increases your range of movement and provides resistance which makes the smovey feel heavier at some points as you swing it – and if that’s not enough….the smovey also vibrates with every swing which increases the toning and energising effects.
We will be running these walks from a different location each month i.e. every 4-5 weeks for variety. All Wellbeing Walks will be within a radius of 3 miles from Sale Water Park. Please contact Anita if you need a lift and we will try to arrange one for you.
Make sure you have some cash in your pocket for refreshments after the walk at the cafe.
