Today we will be doing the Lymm Heritage Trail.
We will visit the beautiful village of Lymm and its footpaths, canal paths and the Trans Pennine Trail. The area surrounding the dam is renowned for richness in wildlife, a variety of trees and a carpet of wildflowers.
We will meet at St Mary's Church Hall, Crouchley Lane, Lymm,WA13 0AS
1 suitable clothing - layers are best
2 a small rucksac
3 light refreshments (water, fruit juice, etc) and a picnic on longer walks
4 gloves and hats if cold
5 Mobile phone is useful for any last minute changes
6 Walk Leaders mobile number
7 Suitable walking shoes - waterproof is best with good flexibility
The walk includes a short mobilisation of joints prior to walking and a cool down stretch at the end.
Toilets: sometimes located at the start of the walk and sometimes during. Check the individual walk descriptions for more information.
Refreshments: We usually go to a cafe or a pub towards the end - or at the end - of the walk.
Pole Rental: £2/session (please email/text the Walk Leader when booking if you would like to hire poles.
Cancellation Policy: Please cancel 24 hours before the scheduled start time for a session credit to be applied. Cancellations inside of 24 hours will be charged in full.
