The fast track course will cover all the elements of the Learn to Nordic Walk course in 3 hours and helps you to understand how to gain propulsion, gradually increase the workload and learn how to Nordic walk for fitness.
Good level of fitness required.
Following completion of the Learn to programme you will receive your freedom passport where you can then join in regular walks, not just locally but all over the country.
The 3 hours fast track beginners course is perfect if you are time short and really keen to add Nordic walking into your life style.
It is usually at a brisk pace though this will be adapted to suit those participating.
We will have a short break after 1.5 hours.
We will be walking on both grass and paths so make sure you’re wearing supportive shoes/trainers with a good tread that you are happy to get dirty and comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather.

2 - any medications you may need
3 - a small rucksack as you'll need both hands free at all times.
4 - a mobile phone is useful for any last minute notifications.
I started Nordic walking nearly 10 years ago when I moved into Thorpe. I have always been active but wanted to do an outdoors activity with the Peak District on our doorstep.
Now I am going out for a Nordic walk in every kind of weather and certatainly agree with the slogan:
