Nordic Walking In Richmond Park and Surrey
Its been more than just improving my fitness and loosing weight; Ive simply enjoyed being out in the open air in all weathers which has given my life a real buzz thanks Mark! SB, Thames DittonAll walks take place in Richmond Park.goBuzz Nordic Walking is a great way to exercise with like-minded people in the great outdoors such as Richmond Park. Mark is fully licensed to take groups walking in the Royal Parks which means his insurance, qualifications and risk assessments have all been certified and checked.

The grade (number after title of walk) equates to the maximum speed (mph) that we would achieve during that walk. It is also the minimum speed that someone joining that walk should be able to maintain for the duration of that walk. It doesnt mean to say that we will be walking constantly at that speed. But we will endeavour to get to that speed as conditions permit.

Before joining a Nordic Walking group you will need to learn the correct technique. This can be done in one of 2 ways:1-2-1 tuitionor aformal course.The
formal course consists of 3 x one hour lessons spread over 3 weeks, gradually building up the technique and use of the poles. There will be a course starting in mid January, dates to be decided.Not sure if Nordic Walking is for you? Then you may pay and attend the first lesson without commitment. - Mark is also a running coach helping people improve their running technique. He has trained groups and individuals to prepare for marathons as well as those that just wish to make their parkrun a bit easier!Mark is also a Personal Trainer, preferring to conduct classes outdoors. However, they could also be conducted from the comfort of your own home/garden. The goBuzz personal training classes vary as follows:- Traditional one-to-one- One-to-one using Nordic Walking as the exercise medium- Small group training (max group size 4)- Small group training using Nordic Walking as the exercise medium (max group size 4)
