I have always kept myself fit, spending 22 years in the military gave me a love of the outdoors. I cant think of anything better than Nordic Walking with a group of people who have the same love of the outdoors.I found Nordic Walking by accident, but loved it immediately. After my taster session I purchased a set of poles and progressed from there, walking on average around 30 to 40 miles a week.Its a whole-body exercise everyone can do, theres no limitation on age or fitness level. Nordic Walking is now my main fitness strategy, after 42 years of being a cyclist but no longer allowed to ride, Nordic Walking is a part of my life; its socially rewarding. I like working with people of all abilities we run adventure to fitness workout walks to well being walks, the team are excellent and have a real passion in what they do. As a sports massage therapist and Tai Chi Qigong Instructor, i believe the whole body needs to be in balance from the external physical fitness to the internal mental health, what could be better than exercising in some of our great outdoor settings.I also run First Aid training courses for Nordic Walking, outdoor first aid taught in an outdoor environment, giving you the client the confidence to deal with various situations. Sometimes the real danger is not the injury; it quite often is the weather.
