Walx West Highland primarily provides sociable Nordic walking with instruction for general fitness and wellbeing. Different walking activities are provided by fully qualified instructors for all abilities, from gentle Wellness Walx to more arduous fitness walks for example Total Body Walx and ski fit. Our goal is to help you achieve your goals by a variety of different sessions. Most sessions last for an hour to an hour and a half.These Include -
- Power of Poles (POP) induction learn to use poles for walking, leisure and fitness.
- Total Body Walx (TBW) using poles for walking with additional exercise routines.
- Explorer walx (leisurely scenic walks with or without poles)
- Nordic Walx longer more adventurous walks (for the committed Nordic walker)
- Shinrinn Yoku (forest bathing) a very calming and refreshing experience.
- Wellness Walx (for those approaching exercise for the first time or recovering)
- Ski Fit get ready for the slopes (October to February)
Usually for walx of an hour or more we finish with a tea or coffee for refreshment and a social chat.Walx membership and registration is free.Generous discounts are available on most activities if you are paying for activities in bloc or by direct debit arrangements.
