Born in Leamington Spa and brought up in rural west Northamptonshire I have always been associated with the neighbouring South Warwickshire region.
I have always enjoyed being involved with exercise, sport and the “Great Outdoors” from my very early years. I played rugby competitively until one week before my 60th birthday in September 2018 and enjoy playing tennis, real tennis, skiing and golf.
